Our Story

After getting her degree from CSU Chico, Brittany moved to Washington state to be near her family. Shortly after, her best friend Katie Mann introduced Britt to her cousin Andrew at a New Years Eve party in Seattle. They caught each other's eye, but the timing wasn't quite right.
Andrew moved back to Washington after getting his degree from the University of Wyoming in 2016. They reconnected as friends and running buddies while they were both living in Woodinville, WA!
Over the next two years, their bond deepened, and friendship blossomed into an inseparable connection.
In 2018 they found themselves transitioning from best friends into romantic partners. Their journey, marked by patience, friendship, and fortuity, is a testament to the power of timing and the enduring strength of love.

Lake Crescent is nestled in the heart of Olympic National Park and is a breathtaking destination with its crystal-clear blue waters and lush, mountainous forest surroundings.
We discovered this serene spot during a camping trip in 2020 and instantly fell in love with its natural beauty and tranquility. We are very excited to share this Olympic National Park gem with YOU!
As a remote location, Lake Crescent and NatureBridge can present some logistical challenges and limited options for lodging. To make it easier, we are offering guests the option to stay with us at NatureBridge, which includes meals and beverages—think of it as an all-inclusive resort experience!
Alternatively, the Lake Crescent Lodge, less than a mile away and connected by a walking trail along the lake, is another fantastic option if the NatureBridge cabin stay isn’t your style.

Getting There
Driving to the event location, you'll get to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Washington State.
Get ready to hit the road and discover all the amazing sights and experiences waiting for you!

Driving to LAKE CRESCENT
There are 2 routes you can take to NatureBridge from the Seattle Area:
1. Our favorite route takes you North to Edmonds, WA where you will get on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. This is a 30-minute ferry ride, often filled with wildlife & amazing views of the Olympic Mountains!
Be sure to check WSDOT Ferry schedules and keep in mind that ferry delays could add to your travel time!
2. Drive South to Tacoma, WA and then North to the Olympic Peninsula. Typically, this route is longer in mileage, but can be shorter time-wise depending on traffic / ferry schedules.

OUT OF STATE
The best options for air travel are to fly into
Seattle International Airport or Everett Payne Field Airport.
Both have similar travel times to NatureBridge (~3 Hours).
Unfortunately, there are no public transportation options or shuttles available to the event location from any local airports. Guests will need to book a rental car for the scenic ~3 hour drive.
ferry travel reminders

-
If you are flying into WA, plan to arrive at least 1-2 hours prior to when you want to catch the Edmonds-Kingston or Seattle-Bainbridge ferries. Sometimes this line can be quite congested.
-
Most Ferries depart every hour and a half.
-
If you get stuck waiting an extra turn, there are many shops and facilities near the ferry terminals.
-
Patience is key! There has been a shortage of Washington ferry employees. There are often delays.
